In celebration of the centenary of Olivier Messiaen’s birth, this concert includes his “L’Ascension” and “Offrande au Saint Sacrement,” a work discovered after the French composer’s death. The concert features a screening of Paul Festa’s documentary “Apparition of the Eternal Church,” in which Festa interviews more than 30 cultural icons as they listen to Messiaen’s powerfully provocative organ work.
