III/26 M.P. Möller, Inc., Op. 6423 (1936)
• II/20s Müller & Abel (1902)

During the Civil War years, the nation was in great tumult and many involved in the war efforts sought a more peaceful existence by escaping to the serenity of "country living." Many homes were built in Riverdale and new churches were established. On June 24, 1863, with 65 attending in the morning and 50 in the afternoon, the Riverdale Presbyterian Church was organized. The English-inspired Late Gothic Revival stone building, designed by James Renwick Jr., was constructed during the summer with the first service in the completed structure taking place October 11, 1863.

In 1966, Riverdale Presbyterian Church was designated a Landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
