J.H. & C.S. Odell
New York City – Opus 148 (1875)
Mechanical action
2 manuals, 17 stops, 17 ranks
The organ for Sixth Street Baptist Church was built in 1875 by the J.H. &. C.S. Odell Company of New York City. Odell's "Style E" specification was enlarged by the addition of two stops: a Great Trumpet, and a divided 16' Bourdon/Double Diapason on the Swell. The Swell Oboe, normally beginning at tenor C, was extended downward with a 12-note Bassoon, and the Pedals, normally having two octaves, were extended to 27 notes. |
