310 West 54th Street  
St. Timothy Protestant Episcopal Church was organized in 1853. The first church building, located at 310 West 54th Street, later became Amity Baptist Church.

In 1867, St. Timothy established a mission chapel on West 56th at Eighth Avenue.

St. Timothy merged with Zion P.E. Church in 1890 to form Zion & St. Timothy P.E. Church. The combined congregations built a new church on the site of St. Timothy's chapel.

The following specification was recorded by F.R. Webber in one of his "Organ Scrapbooks," now in the collection of The Organ Historical Society Archives in Princeton, N.J. This organ, which may have been subcontracted to Levi U. Stuart, burned with the church in 1889.
