The Ridgewood Reformed Church was established in 1891 by the Rev. J. Weber. A small frame edifice was erected on Decatur Avenue (now Decatur Street), near Forest Avenue. Behind the church is Evergreen Park, and for some time the society was known as Evergreen Reformed Church. Until 1977, Ridgewood was within the Borough of Brooklyn, but is now part of the Borough of Queens.

Since 1986 the building has been home to the Chiuyang Church of New York, a Korean congregation of the Reformed Church in America.

Hagerstown, Md. – Opus R-190 (1944)
Electro-pneumatic action
2 manuals, 11 stops, 5 ranks

Following a fire in 1944 that damaged the sanctuary and its 1930 Möller organ (Op. 5745), the organ was shipped to the Möller factory where it was thoroughly renewed. The Factory Specifications (Oct. 25, 1944) showed that Möller would repair, clean and refinish the console, releather all reservoirs and pouches, provide new armatures and magnets, and clean and reshellac all wooden parts. All metal pipes would be washed and revoiced; the wooden pipes were to be cleaned, their stoppers repacked, and reshellacked. At this time the original 8' Dulciana was replaced by a new 8' Oboe stop with 73 pipes. The organ was reinstalled in a gallery chamber to be built by the church.

The Möller Factory Specifications (Jan. 2, 1930) show that this organ had a two-manual stop-key console. All of the pipes were voiced on 5" wind and enclosed in a single expression chamber. Möller furnished a case, front pipes in Gold Bronze, and the swell box. The organ was to be completed by April 1, 1930.

In 1944 a fire partly destroyed the church and damaged the organ. M.P. Möller was contracted to repair the organ (See previous entry).
