Members of your NYCAGO Executive Committee present the liturgical year in organ music. We perform approachable music in a variety of styles to add to your own library. Come to support your colleagues and enjoy a festive reception afterwards.
Holy Trinity Church has a long history of musical excellence in the Lutheran tradition, particularly its Bach Vespers series which is entering its 58th season. The 20-rank mechanical-action organ in the gallery was built in 1994 by Paul Fritts and Company of Tacoma, Washington, for Bethany Lutheran Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The instrument was relocated to Central Park West in 2011 and has been leased to Holy Trinity ever since. This recital is part of a series of valedictory events in the spring, as it will be succeeded by Fritts Opus 54 next year.
