Mechanical action
3 manuals, 26 stops, 30 ranks

When the congregation moved to their present location in 1905, the sanctuary contained an organ built in 1855 for the Middle Reformed Church by Hall & Labagh of New York City. The following specification was recorded (Aug 27, 1918) by Louis F. Mohr & Co., an organ service concern in the area. Mohr indicated the compasses were 56 (manuals) and 25 (pedals) and that the organ was hand blown. The case was painted and had 19 gold front pipes; it was about 20' high by 17' 6" wide by 13' deep, plus another 4'3" for the pedal keys. Mohr noted that several stops were out, "said would take purchaser there" and "Rabbi could see about price. Sexton in."

(c.1904)

Wiki: By 1904, "Further innovations were attempted, including a pipe organ and a mixed-sex choir but these were removed after objections from Orthodox members." Specifications of this organ have not yet been located. It may be this was in reference to the Hall & Labagh organ at the present location.
