The Momart Theatre was located in bustling downtown Brooklyn. Originally named Montmarte, the 595-seat theatre opened on September 2, 1927. In 1928, it was renamed Momart Theatre, and in December 1929 it became a newsreel & short subjects theatre. The Momart operated until 1954.
