Olympic Theatre

The Olympic Theatre was located in downtown Brooklyn near Borough Hall. It was first known as Hyde & Behmans Theater, one of the leading vaudeville theatres in America during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Hyde & Behmans was remodeled as the 2000-seat Olympic Theatre, and it opened on Labor Day, 1925. This theater was later renamed the Tivoli. |

In 1926, an organ was installed in the Olympic Theatre by the M.P. Möller company of Hagerstown, Md. An identical organ (Op. 4629) was built for the Mecca Theatre in Manhattan. The organs cost $10,000 each and had a wind pressure of 8".
