The Second Norwegian Evangelical Free Church began c.1922 as an offshoot of the (First) Norwegian Evangelical Free Church, then located on Fourth Avenue at 15th Street. The new society erected the present brick Gothic church on the corner of Eighth Avenue and 52nd Street. Over time, Norwegians left the area and the congregation today has a diverse membership, including many Chinese.

Hagerstown, Md. – Opus 6682 (1938)
Electro-pneumatic action
2 manuals, 18 stops, 9 ranks

The Memorandum of Agreement (June 4, 1938) between M.P. Möller and "Second Norwegian Ev. Free Church" in Brooklyn show that Möller agreed to build and install a two-manual organ for a consideration of $3,275. Möller stated that the organ would be ready for use on or before September 15, 1938. The organ was installed in two chambers, one on each side of the chancel, and was controlled by a detached drawknob console of "Comb. grain oak." Möller voiced the organ on 4½" pressure. The status of this organ is unknown.
