St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized about 1872 to serve German Lutherans in the Garroll Gardens area of Brooklyn. The first church was located on Columbia Street, near Summit. In 1878, the congregation moved to a new church on Henry Street, near Third Place, where they remained until about the 1940s. It is not known if the congregationa merged into another church or disbanded.

The following specifications were recorded in June 1924 by Louis F. Mohr & Co., an organ service concern in the area. Mohr's notations indicate that he was estimating the installation of a Kinetic blower for the organ.
