St. Philip Evangelical Lutheran Church
85 Forbell Street near McKinley Avenue
Brooklyn, N.Y. 11208
Organized in 1913, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Philip met during its early years in a building on McKinley Avenue (Magenta) near Euclid Avenue. In 1921, the congregation relocated to its present site on Forbell Street near McKinley Avenue. The neo-Gothic building was designed by Cherry & Matz of New York City.
In 2015, the congregation sold its building to the Pentecostal Christian
Church John 3:16. |
