Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized in 1901. The society erected a stone Neo-Gothic building on the corner of Brown Place at East 137th Street in the Bronx. At an unknown time this church was closed. In 2012 the building is home to the Spanish Missionary Baptist Church, show in the photo above. |

The Agreement (July 9, 1913) between M.P. Möller and "Lutheran Church" shows that Möller would build a two-manual organ with quartered oak casing for a consideration of $1,350. Möller stated that the organ would be complete and ready for use on or before September 1, 1913, or as soon after as possible. The organ was shipped on September 18, 1913. |
