Epworth United Methodist Church
834 Concourse Village E (originally Morris Avenue)
The Bronx, N.Y. 10451
Epworth Methodist Episcopal Church was established sometime in the 1910s, and the society "endured for many years the handicap of a dilapitated frame building, rented, as a place of worship." In 1922, the society purchased a plot measuring 100 by 101 feet on the east side of Morris Avenue at 160th Street, upon which a new church building was erected. |
