The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd was founded in 1909. A small clapboard church was built on the corner of Matilda and Nereid Avenues in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.

The Möller Factory Specification (June 4, 1928) shows that this two-manual organ had a detached stop-key console, casing of quartered oak, and gold bronze display pipes. All of the pipes were enclosed in one chamber, and the organ was voiced on 5" wind pressure.
