Gallery Organ

Geo. Kilgen & Son

St. Louis, Mo. – Opus 5832 (1937)

The Gallery Organ at Our Lady of Mount Carmel was built by Geo. Kilgen & Son of St. Louis. It is believed that the organ was originally a two-manual and pedal organ with automatic player built in 1916 by Ernest M. Skinner of Boston, as Opus 256 for the A.H. Lamborn Residence in Montclair, N.J. The present three-manual organ, as rebuilt and enlarged by Kilgen, also controls the resources of the Sanctuary Organ, also by Kilgen.
