The theatre located at 112-114 Cannon Street, between Lewis and Columbia Streets and just south of the ramp to the Williamsburg Bridge, was built in 1914 as the Victoria Theatre. By 1923, it was known as the Betsy Ross. The Film Daily Yearbook (1930) lists the Cannon Movies Theatre with 562 seats at this address, and the F.D.Y. of 1941 shows it was named the Glory Theatre with 510 seats. There is no theatre at this address in the 1943 issue of F.D.Y.
