Austin Organ Company
Hartford, Conn. – Opus 1762 (1931)
Electro-pneumatic action
3 manuals, 61 stops, 35 ranks
This organ was originally built in 1931 for the W.P. Conway Residence in Green Village, N.J. In 1952, Austin rebuilt and moved the organ to Broadway Temple Methodist Church. Charles Scharpenger, an employee of Louis F. Mohr & Co., recorded the following specifications on April 20, 1961. Pipecounts were not given, but are suggested based on similar Austin organs of that era. |
