Estey Organ Company "Grand Minuette" model
Interior of an Estey Grand Minuette
Estey's Op. 2854 is believed to have been the white "Grand Minuette" model, as seen in the top photo at right.

Estey's first example of a "Grand Minuette" (Op. 2800) was built in 1929 for Connie's Inn in Harlem. The Grand Minuette had three unified ranks on 8" wind pressure, and all of its pipes were contained in a grand piano-type case that measured 8'4" long by 5'5" wide by 3'3" high. The case and piano-type bench of Op. 2800 were finished in Whitewood, ivory and gold. Following are the specifications for Estey's Op. 2800 installed in Connie's Inn.

Estey Organ Company
Brattleboro, Vt. – Opus 1010 (1912)
Electro-pneumatic action
3 manuals, 32 stops, 28 ranks

This completely enclosed, three-manual organ was voiced for a small room, "to show the most refined tonal effects." The Pedal organ was augmented from the Great, and employed Estey's new patented [Haskell] basses which enabled those stops to be placed under a ceiling only eleven feet high. An Estey Automatic Roll Player could play 58 and 85 note rolls. The organ was ultimately sold to J.W. Baxter, of Greenwich, Conn.
