Immanuel Baptist Church was founded in 1894 to serve German Baptists on the East Side of Manhattan. Plans for a building on East 75th Street were filed in 1905 by F.E. Dusinberre. The former church building has since been used as a television production studio

The Möller Factory Specifications dated January 31, 1923, state that this organ for Immanuel Baptist Church included a detached console, a plain oak case, and Gold Bronze decorations. Wind pressure for the organ was 5 inches. The organ was to be completed by August 1, 1923.
