Convent Chapel of Mary Reparatrix - New York City (1956 postcard)
The Convent Chapel of Mary Reparatrix occupied the edifice originally built (c.1881) as the Roman Catholic Church of St. Leo, organized in 1880. Designed in the Gothic style, the building had a facade that included two entrance portals, above which was a large window, with a slender tower at the side. The interior was decorated in warm hues and featured a tracery window above the high altar. In the late nineteenth century, St. Leo's counted as its members some of the most prominent Catholic families in New York City.

At a later date, the church was used as the Convent Chapel of Mary Reparatrix until it was closed in 1984 and razed the following year.
