Mechanical key and stop action
2 manuals, 9 stops, 10 ranks

The two-manual organ for William and Loyde Ortel, built by the firm of Dirk Flentrop of Zandaam, Holland in 1960, was originally installed in their New York City residence. Consisting of nine registers and ten ranks, the organ served as a practice instrument for Mrs. Ortel, who studied organ at Yale University with Professor H. Frank Bozyan. The organ was moved to the Ortels’ home in Stockbridge, Massachusetts in 1991. The Ortels donated the organ to the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, where it was moved in August 2000.
