Sebastian M. Glück
New York City – Opus 1 (1985)
Electro-pneumatic action
2 manuals, 28 registers, 4 stops, 4 ranks

This electropneumatic unit instrument was commissioned for practice in the owner's apartment overlooking Manhattan's Morningside Park. The console and solid state relay were equipped for future expansion beyond the original four ranks. A compact blower in the base and a single schwimmer regulator delivered 75 mm of wind to the pipes.

The walnut and mahogany console featured an elaborate music rack inlaid by Mr. Glück. The pedal clavier was built of maple and rosewood, and the ivory and ebony manual keyboards were rebuilt with tracker touch from the Aeolian-Skinner organ formerly at Trinity College, Hartford. The drawknob arrangement was copied from instruments by the 19th-century American organbuilder John Gayle Marklove.

When Mr. Weaver neared retirement and anticipated moving, the builder purchased and removed the organ in 1993.
