New York City – Opus 313 (1893); moved by Odell (1906)
Tubular-pneumatic key and stop action
3 manuals, 40 stops, 46 ranks

This organ was originally built in 1893 for the church building on West 32nd Street. In 1906, construction of the Pennsylvania Station Rail Road Yard required that the church be moved to West 34th Street. At that time, about 1906, the organ was also dismantled and moved. In 1989, the organ console was rebuilt by Sebastian Glück of New York City.

Beginning in 2007 and continuing as funds permit, the century-old organ is undergoing restoration by J.H. & C.S. Odell of East Hampton, Conn. To date, Odell has completely restored the winding system, including a new blower, and has overhauled the very large (10 feet by 12 feet) double-rise reservoir. Odell has also rebuilt the Choir pneumatic stop action assembly, and will repair or replace damaged and missing pipes in the Swell division.
