Johnson & Son
Westfield, Mass. – Opus 132 (1862)
Mechanical action
2 manuals, 22 registers, 14 stops, 14 ranks

This organ was originally built in 1862 for St. Mary Episcopal Church in Cold Spring, N.Y. In 1895, the organ was removed to the Votey Organ Company Warerooms. The organ was advertised by Votey, who stated that there was a Gothic-style case of walnut that measured 12' 6" high, 10' 3" wide, and 8' 3" deep. "This organ was built by Johnson & Son, Westfield, Mass., and is of very sweet tone. Is at present partially set up in our warerooms, 1945 Park Ave., N.Y., and when thoroughly overhauled will make a good, reliable and serviceable instrument for many years to come."
