All Nations Baptist Church occupies the building that was originally the Union Course Baptist Church in the area known as Union Course, L.I., so named for a nearby race track. The society dates back to 1889 when a Sunday School was organized in a store on 88th Road. The Rev. John Donaldson was ordained and installed as the first pastor in 1895, a post he held for 35 years. Under Rev. Donaldson's leadership, the congregation erected a wooden frame edifice on the northwest corner of 80th Street and 87th Avenue. The cornerstone was laid on December 6, 1897, and the completed church was dedicated on April 4, 1898. The new church could accomodate 250 and cost $3500.

The present church building was opened in 1910.

At some point, Union Course became known as Woodhaven in the borough of Queens, and the society followed suit by changing its name to Woodhaven Baptist Church. Today, the congregation is known as All Nations Baptist Church.
