Arion Theatre
73-26 Metropolitan Avenue
Middle Village (Queens), N.Y. 11379
The 970-seat Arion Theatre was the first in Queens to be wired for sound and played "The Jazz Singer". For much of its existence, the standard fare included low-priced double features, kiddie matinees, midnight shows and revivals. After the theatre was closed, a succession of drug stores have occupied the space. |
