Maspeth Methodist Episcopal Church of Maspeth, Long Island, was founded around 1855. After 52 years in the original building, the congregation dedicated a new edifice on February 24, 1907. The building burned in 2009, and the congregation merged with Glendale United Methodist Church, in Glendae, Queens.
