First building of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church - Hollis (Queens), N.Y.

St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church was organized in 1887. By 1891 the society had erected its first building, a frame structure with steeple.

The cornerstone for the present stone building was laid in 1959. Today the congregation is known as St. Gabriel's Anglican (Episcopal) Church.

In 2001, the Peragallo Pipe Organ Company enlarged the Möller organ. Specifications for this organ have not yet been located.

The M. P. Möller Factory Specification (Aug. 1, 1932) shows that this organ had a detached console, and the pipes were voiced on 5" wind pressure. Möller indicated that the organ would be completed by September 15, 1932. This organ was moved to the new and present church building in 1959.
