St. Thomas Lutheran Church was organized in 1927 to serve residents of Locust Manor in Jamaica, Queens. In 1973, the congregation merged with Good Shepherd Lutheran and Incarnation Lutheran churches to form New Hope Lutheran Church. The combined congregations meet in the former St. Thomas Lutheran Church.
