All, I am very pleased to announce the launch of the brand new NYCAGO website. This has been a goal of the chapter for the better part of a decade, dating back to our previous webmaster, the late Steven Lawson, who had been lobbying for a website overhaul prior to his passing in August 2018….
The NYCAGO Board has established a committee to address issues of diversity within the Chapter. The committee members are Janet Yieh, Sam Bartlett, Nathanial Gumbs, and Larry Long. The NYCAGO Presidents’ Day Conference returns in-person this year on February 21st for what promises to be a wonderful day of music making. Entitled “New York Central”, the day will focus on composers, improvisors, and performers associated with the Big Apple. The registration table will open at 9:30 AM. (There is no pre-registration.) Both churches require proof of vaccination for all attendees and masks must be worn while inside.
